i just love denim! seriously! i took old scraps of jeans and purses and stuff and had them made into pillows for my sofa, then a few scraps here and there to make a wall quilt! i have denim covered picture frames in my living room even! lol,im a nut, what can i say?
Karin Taylor
replied
You sure do don’t you!!! so do i….my mum made me a denim bag from old jeans once and i like that look. I like to wear scraps of fabric tied around the neck for a necklace to pick up the colours in the jeans and add a splash of red to it…...i have a friend who made this gorgeous oriental inspired blue/red/white dilly bag that is kind of quilted…really hippy….and i wear it with dark blue jeans with a white slosh of paint over them, a white t and these scraps of material around the neck…..works well together….. did we know one another in a past life??? lol

im begining to wonder! of COURSE you have to have a splash of red! funny…that reminds me of the outfit im wearing to court next week: its a dark blue denim sheath dress, just above the knee, and i have these cute lil red and white nautical looking canvas flats with what appears to be a hemp like sole, and a cherry red 3/4 sleeves cardigan….way cute! (the splash of red thing reminded me of court, how funny is that?!)
