thank you karen, at the time of painting it, i couldn’t get such images out of my head….of stitching and shapes…and did a few of these, this one is the best of that series, but i have manipulated the colours to give it a more rosy appearance :) glad you liked it

uh ? um i’ll have to check out this Alhambra…dunno anything much about it…no formula….i’m a bit of a dummy with formulas….just was going with the flow…..i have this thing about shapes and balance, my own wierd way of working things out …... but don’t get maths at all :( So glad you like it tho!!

oh, ok i googled and now understand a bit better….nah..i’d never seen this other stuff before….it’s really nice, i liked it a lot!!! i can see the resemblance
