i’m just playing around with some pastels really….i was useless at first…..it was just a bit of practice really…..i started the pastels when an art teacher i took some evening classes with by the name of Ken Harris and his partner Elizabeth believed in me enough to send me a package in the mail of wonderful bits and pieces of pastels and papers and whatever else he had laying around….to this day i still don’t think he realises what an enormous encouragement and influence he was in my life. I think he teaches oil painting on a private channel in Brisbane….but a great man…without him i would never had gone near a pastel… funny how things happen :)
