Karen Cook
This is really well-balanced and I like the small details like how they’re wearing different swimsuits, as well as the tassles on the towels! The colours you choose work so well together.
Your eye for detail is amazing. One of these days I’m going to take some painting lessons :o)

Your design and composition is always stronger than Magnus VerMagnuson, who I think is the strongest man in the world. (And with that I have now met my weird reference for the day quota.) ;)
Karin Taylor
replied
lol thanks Steven ‘design by association’ quote accepted and filed … i hope now that big muscular men do not start featuring in my art…. because what goes in, usually comes out in my art….. could you please use ‘prettier’ reference tools in the future ….. kind regards, K :) (cheeky grin)

Hi Karin, So glad to see these here and even happier to have seen the original sell at the Arts Festival I was coordinating!
I have joined RB now and will gradually add some photos for possible sales.
I want to start doing photos and poems for cards, as well as prints etc; I’ll never be an “Artist” like you, but hopefully my camera will do most of the work.
Bye for now and so good to see all your terrific work. xxx
Karin Taylor
replied
thanx caz :) and a big big welcome to Red Bubble…..
it’s so nice to hear from you!! and wonderful to have you here!
I’ll be checking out your portfolio in the very near future…and if you don’t mind I’ll journal a bit about you….and hopefully some nice folks will welcome you and comment on your works!! I hope you enjoy the community here, it’s really great!! and you were the best co-ordinator the Southern Cross Arts Festival ever had in my humble opinion :)

Thanks Karin, it’s artists like you that made it worthwhile. If only I won Lotto then I’d continue running it, but sadly, one had to pay the bills and volunteers can’t pay bills with LOVE alone!
Great to check out all your work, you are doing so well.
