A Crap – how is it possible for one person to have such amazing talents. Lovely, love the colours and you just feel she is happy to watch the world go by waiting to be either saved or driff a bit further

Hi Deidre, lol….I just had a period of time where I was very prolific, not so prolific at the moment….mainly just uploading work to red bubble! I need to get back to the ‘drawing board’ so to speak! Thanks for the uplifting comments!

I love the colours, and most of all and closely related to the colours: the incredible texture!! the association between intense and charcoally colours!!
:))) love it love it love it :)

a great comment Cvail73, I love the way you’re description…i think you have a gift there!! thank you so much. The texture is due to the paper which has a canvas tooth…it’s unusual to use this type of paper, but it is a happy accident to which the pastels grip beautifully…it allows the pastels to show through their brilliant colour.

Yes, and you’ve worked the red/hot colours to a smooth, intense and dense texture whilst the so cold cold colours have that scarcer, rougher edge. Lovely :))))))))))))))))))))

Karin Taylor in reply to frozenfa’s comment, 4 months ago

lol hi frozenfa, it took me some time to feel my way with using pastels and getting more confident with them…..they are diverse….you can make them look just like acrylics, or more like this with bold strokes….i love doing big sweeping circles. one of the first things i discovered when i ‘let go’ with drawing, was that i can draw almost perfect circles…!!!! one of the things i’m most proud of :)
