i think it’s very strong of you to be able to sell away a piece that you truly love.. until now, i can’t bear to part with any of my hand drawn works.. i gave one to a friend of mine a few years back, and dang, i wanna ask for it back.. XD
Karin Taylor
replied
Yeah, it’s tuff, but someone told me when you let ‘em go…it pushes you on to keep creating more and more….but some of them, I just want back NOW!!!
frozenfa
yea.. i think i can understand that feeling.. u know, i bought back my first batik painting my school put on sale for charity cos i can’t bear to let anyone have it.. and later my art teacher had to help me steal my own 2nd bigger batik painting from the school.. n_n” i wonder how she answered for that.. love her! XD

....you do become very attached to them :D
....I think it’s because they are really like your children, a creation from the depth of your being, they are a part of you…..I remember going to see Picasso & others works in person, and truly, I could sense their presence, it was really a bit creepy but awesome at the same time, I could almost see them at their easels…..wierd huh!? :D

Karin this painting is very “cheeky”...I can understand when you say you are sad to see your painting go. I often wonder where mine finish up…it is nice to know isn’t it? Great work. :)

Great composition, reminds of the 50s seaside postcards in England, and I mean that really nicely
