....this is a similar use of the white gesso, as an overlay on pastels underneath, which show through a little bit. Kind of looks a bit like tulle or lacey….glad you like fa :D thanx

Hmmmm.. ok this sounds really interesting.. now u made me wanna dig for my brushes again!! XD am so checking up on gesso.. havn’t heard of it.. is it something like acrylic?

Hi frozen, yeah, it’s a very thick acrylic paint, wonderful to use with your fingers, can be watered down tho. Most people use it to prime their boards and canvas a few times to give add texture or tooth, so the paint grips. But I like to use it for all sorts of things….I even paint my furniture with it to give it a whitewashed appeal…....it’s scary sometimes, being me!
