Sleepwave is a mixed media production on canvas textured paper, it involved the use of inks, pastels, charcoal and acrylics.
I took studies of ladies lying on the beach at Byron Bay to give me the correct outlines for the figure work, then just used my imagination for the rest

This was the hardest thing I’ve drawn so far…I had to have someone re-pose for me after my beach sketch just to make sure I had it right….

i love the angel.. the way she lie with her hair flowing freely~ and of cos those lil flowers makes the whole piece more sweet…~ XD
