Surf Maiden is a mixed media production on paper.
I used ink, pastel, acrylic and charcoal.
I am inspired by many things, one of which is Mambo.Designs, particularly Reg Mombassa’s designs…..Surf Maiden is a tribute to Mambo’s alter ego, she is the female mambo’ in us all :D

the top of her back and left arm looks a lil coarse due to the green i guess.. but other than that, i just love the whole piece!!

Hi Fa, this one’s a rough diamond…I pumped the colours up a bit in Photoshop to help it along….I imagine the yellow/green rough patch on her back occurred after she got dumped in the last wave before this one!!! Probably got moss on her togs as well :D grin
