‘Beach Buddies’ Series card by Karin Taylor

Rockpool Therapy was created using sepia ink for the spontaneous fast flow of the outlines, and inks and watered down acrylics with a touch of pastel here and there for the rest.

There are days when a visit to the rockpools does wonders for my soul!
To share a visit to the rockpools with one’s friends is even better.

I love this. It reminds me of summer, the beach, sharing laughs and fun with my girlfriends. The colours are bright and happy, a certain warmth comes from viewing it, and a smile appears. All your work is fabulous, I really enjoy looking at them all.

Wow, you have an imagination like no other.
I mean girlfriend therapy in a rockpool is so cool.
I value all my sessions with my friends usually
around a table or in a cafe. Wading in clear water
meditating on the smooth stones below must
be good for the soul. Your work is so refreshing.

Yes Vonney….it is very therapeutic…it has happened a few times, one special time with one friend, there is something so soothing and soul emptying, especially when there are troubles…..it all spills out at the rockpools and everything seems better afterwards :)

oh thank you so much….i love to dilly dally around rockpools…and i thought what nicer thing, than friends dilly-dallying around rockpools together :)
