    couldn’t agree more. I have always loved that JL quote… it’s just so true. So Funny… cause today I’ve been working on a McCartney song lyric drawing! :) xxoo

    This is also part of what JL said …added onto that quote which I really like and keep in my collection of inspiring quotes in my journal.
    We’ve got this gift of love, but love is like a precious plant. You can’t just accept it and leave it in the cupboard or just think it’s going to get on by itself. You’ve got to keep watering it. You’ve got to really look after it and nurture it.

    As I may have said before: Your pencil drawings are synonymous with B&W photo. My saying is that Photos and drawings – both can be and usually are better works of art in black and white. Colour is the Emperors Clothing to this picture. For those who say ‘Cant wait for the colour’ – humbug- they should be praising this art for what is is – AN EXCELLENT DRAWING IN ITS OWN RIGHT.

    aw, thank you very much GTS – that means a lot to me, in the past i would never upload a drawing without painting it first, but I’m so glad I’ve started doing so. There is a different feeling to them, somewhat more sombre but somehow i find them more expressive than the colour…the colour can blind to what is beneath…the blood sweat and tears that go underneath… I’m so glad you appreciate it so :) thank you from my heart :)

    I don’t like it, I love it. Each flower is perfectly unique in size and shape, the hair is beautifully flowing but best of all is the flowers that make the iris of her eyes. Amazing, beautiful work! Color will be great but this has a beautiful unique feel as a sepia tone.
