Yahweh make his face to shine on you, and be gracious to you.
From the ‘Connection Series’, this is a pencil drawing, coloured with aquacolour crayons on paper… i have played around with this quite a bit in photoshop also, applying layers and more colour to enrich the overall look
When i ponder this, it gives me a feeling of hope, like after the mourning, there is morning and the sun comes out again…..
It’s all about our connection with nature and other lofty things :)

I use the Douay version, so I know the line as the “Lord makes his face to shine upon you”...the next line is “And give you Peace”...when I saw this, my first thought was “Amen”...brilliant Karin…genius Karin…

There are two versions and this is the one I sing…the recording is a bit static and not the best, but it gives you an idea…now I am on a search to find the best choir, as this one did not sing it too well and it was way too short…the amen is much longer….

Best Tempo I sing it at this pace…but the vioces here are so so….BTW this is the Lutkin version, that most Catholics sing….Protestants usually sing the Rutter version…

Yes, though the voices need more polish, the tempo is the one I sing and have sung since I was a little girl..the others tend to drag it out…it is great with a good choir like the ones in England, but they sing the Rutter version which is nice but not as glorious…I’m glad you liked them and it was my pleasure…

I dont know how – magic perhaps – that you have created what I call a Depth of Field as in photography – a hazy background in contrast to her detailed hair.
I also like the Japanese style wave in the picture. The scale of the trees also gives it depth. Love the colours, Karin :o)
