thx Jeannette, i made it some time ago, but at the time i was fascinate with craquel paint…and the effects you could get, ... i believe i applied the craquel paint under, then acrylic over and then some more craquel over the top….as the craquel paint dries it shrinks and pulls back the other paint with it, and this is what apparently creates the look of cracks and peeling paint…although it is sealed, so that it doesn’t flake :)

I’m so glad you like it… apparently my 5 year old niece Maya, was allowed to have computer time yesterday…and instead of playing games, she told her Nenek (my mum/her nana) that she wanted to look through all my calendars…she sat there for 15 minutes clicking through them all…howzat…..for encouragement nothing can beat that sort of news….thx so much for all your encouragement of me :) xx
