Created on brown paper with white acrylic gesso
pastels and felt pen, and a little photoshopping

I thought this would be a nice design for to give as a welcome to newborn babies and their parents :D

I have also created another design for cards and prints in a variation with a fresh white background that would look wonderful in the baby’s nursery

    hmm.. wonder if it’ll look nicer if the texts is replaced with some poetry or verse? =D

    i did this one as a welcome for when the baby comes along
    and the plain one for a print to hang in a baby’s nursery
    but a verse of some sort would be really lovely also…..

    fa, did you write this the warmth of a mother’s hug brings a sense of love and security to the lil one? if it is your composition, and there’s no copyright issue, would you allow me to use it as the verse on the plain print?

    it is called ‘Augie’ font….a freeware font downloadable on the internet :D
    it’s so nice isn’t it, looks just like handwriting!!

    yea.. that just pops up in my mind.. cos this piece reminds me of my baby photo where baby me lean on my mum’s chest sound asleep.. hehe.. of course you can use it! i just tried to google that and seems like there’s no such exact quote or verse.. n_n”
