I like this K ! For some reason though, on my browser, Windows Explorer 7, the second pic down the righthand side is cut in half by the RB ‘bottom of page links’ and the open card image is below them. :(

  • Karin Taylorcommunity helper replied

yes, it seems to do that for some reason R
then if comments come along, it rights itself ..can’t figure that out

great piece, Karin!! love the textures.. and i like how the lil colors really stands out among all the blacks and scratch-like textures of the flowers.. lovely!! =D

  • Karin Taylorcommunity helper replied

thanks fa, the textures were already there, so i didn’t apply anything in photoshop re textures…but just enhanced a little, i added some scratches to the top section to give it a rustic feel – glad you think it’s nice fa :D

I was just looking at Janis’s work where she paints the colors first and adds the shades to them. This sort of reminds me of that. Love the contrast and the way of coloring.

  • Karin Taylorcommunity helper replied

    thx Mui-Ling :D
i did this some time back when I was exploring the fun you can have with ink and pastels :D
