  • Karin Taylorcommunity helper replied

...thank you fa!!....and yep, i can’t get away with anything with you so on the ball.!! I did put a little texture into her cozzies in Photoshop!! they were already very textured, but it added a nice touch…I asked Sarah, and she likes both vrsions, so I went with the lines as it was a bit different :D and Yes, it does bare quite a resemblance to the pose of Ship Ahoy there…well spotted fa!! lol

  • Alf Caruana

    Alf Caruana

I need to know…were do you get your wonderful inspiration? love it

  • Karin Taylorcommunity helper replied

oh geez, that’s a hard question, but a goodie…ummm….a lot of times i paint what i wish for….i love ‘round’ shapes, so females work well with that…..i love to make people feel….happy….relaxed…reminiscent about their childhood, and to help others consider the feelings of their fellows in the human race….so all of my art, to some extent …has this sort of inspiration flowing through it….i also like to represent the marginalised…those who are depressed, lonely, orphaned, alone..outcast, sometimes to show the beauty in that somehow…ie like larger women, or little children who have no voice in the world…i think this is where i’m coming from largely Alf :D i hope that answers your question in a little way…. K ….thank you!!!!
