    AAAAAA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i like this background!!!
hmm.. maybe you can thicken and change the font to black?
cut and paste the font onto another layer.. then add stroke to thicken it abit and color overlay to change the color.. n_n”

Like it with the stripes behind; like sound waves – maybe in this case it’s long silence.

aw, I love the way you think Mui-Ling….you relate things you see to other things, and it’s very much the way my brain works, linking ideas…I really appreciate what you say always, xo

Hey Karen….do you mind me asking… lay a textured layer underneath the image and then make his face transparent? I really love the effect. I should add that I am a bit of a computer spaz…but then you already knew that.

  • Karin Taylorcommunity helper replied

Hi Liesl, what i first did was to get a layer of brown paper, then paint white acrylic gesso over it in a random fashion, then did a pencil drawing of her, then used a black faber castelle felt pen to draw her outline…..then i photographed her, saved her as a png tshirt file and pulled her over onto my card template. I made the background striped, and the foreground is the cut out girl who was originally made on brown paper. I didn’t make her transparent, it’s just the brown paper and the acrylic gesso showing through. Hope that helps explain what I did a bit better?
