From Animal Stuff Series
This is a collage mixed media project involving beads for the eyes, string, silver cut out card/paper for arms legs, flower petals and floral pattern on dress yellow string for fringe, various ribbons for skipping rope, material/fabric and wool, glitter for wind up key on cats back, cut out painted butterly, ink, pastel, charcoal, acrylics on canvas textured paper, also some work in adobe photoshop
My friend fa is introducing her cat series so i thought i’d share wind up cat as well, something i did quite a while ago….

Skipping Cat reaches out her hand to take Tim’s and pats him gently, saying ‘it’s okay Tim, i have a warrior face to prove i’m fierce, but my heart is warm and loving, i won’t hurt you lil Tim “) ”
Skipping Cat scoops up Carina in her huge arms, and smiles gently…saying “Hello Carino, my sweet new lil fren…so nice to meet you, thanx for having soft heart and being so happy to be frens” :)

Oh thank you Karen..you are so sweet and kind…it is a crazy one….i never realised before that her face might be a bit scary and warrior like…..she’s rather masculine for a ‘she-kittycat’ i guess…but she is meant to be a bit robotic, or windup-ish….i don’t have a clue why i did any of it..’cept to say it was just fun to see where collage would take me :)

Oh really? it did not get bought??? well I suppose I’m abit puzzled about what sells and what does not, I’m quite lost to be completely honest!
