Yes your’e so talented, you would make a perfect illustrator especially with the bright colours and designs great for kids. I would love to illustrate kid’s books too but that’s a long way off for me baby steps…

Dear Cate, the hardest thing is going thru the right channels and knowing the right people! Most book companies already have their own group of artist/illustrators to do the art….it’s so hard to try and get noticed if you haven’t come up through the correct channels….being untrained, this is always a major hiccup for me….whenever i try i quickly get exhausted and just go back to painting….self promotion is so hard :) i really hate that part of things :(

yes! it’s a great idea…i know someone here who writes and illustrates and has their own little publishing company….so it can be done….a lotta blood sweat and tears tho…lol :)

thanx!! I have toyed with egyptian stuff before,
but it hasn’t yet downloaded fully into my brain….but i love all things egyptian…...a rich culture, lovely golds and blues….so interesting :)
