This is the continuation of my Judaica series. According to Jewish tradition, the Sabbath starts on Friday evening. The woman of the house ushers it in by lighting two Sabbath candles and saying a blessing over them.

This is a multi-award winning painting.

    Hello Karen.. This is AMAZING…
Although I’m Jewish not religious.. I find this tradition as most wonderful..
Sometimes, I have the urge to light candles also on Friday.
Love your work… it has a MAGNIFICENT Atmosphere.
