The pessimist

My husband was diagnosed with cancer 5 years ago. He is fine now, but I remember the types of things people said trying to make things sound better….. it did not. This illustrates how I felt at the time.

Think positive they say,
I’ts probably nothing,
95 percent are benign,

Think positive they say,
Make your glass half full,
There’s no genetic link,

Think positive they say,
They can do wonderful things now,
The treatments are so much better

Think positive they say,
and it was…...
now can I be negative?

    i’m waiting on my significant other’s biopsy result, which was due in days ago. this so speaks to me. i’m glad your husband’s ok.
