Photography is my passion, I take photos of anything, anywhere, and enjoy processing in Photoshop Elements and Picasa.
Well done Karen, lovely image . Do they lift the rings to allow boats to pass under? x
Thank you David. Well, I stood on London Bridge to get a shot of them down but by the time I had got camera ready they were being raised – and there they stayed till around midnight. The bridge was up and down a lot that evening so yes, I think they are raised to let the boats through,

Thank you Mattie – just wish could have caught it when it was down. Will have to have another trip into the big city for that though. xx
Thank you very much
Great catch – it would fit perfectly in our London 2012 Olympics and Paralympics (entries accepted until Friday 14th September 2012). Please consider entering this image in the challenge (or another from your portfolio fitting the theme), and don’t forget to add it to the Photography Challenge Group at the same time – thanks!
