Walela in Cherokee means hummingbird, the bird of joy. I spent this summer trying to capture a good image of these wonderful birds feeding at my trumpet vine. That joy was not to be accomplished at this time. Last May I was taking photos of a nest of Cardinals and while revisiting that folder, I found this wet little hummer getting out of the rain. Now I have my joy.
