I gotta wait for mu hubby too!!!! but love the title..hahahaha, I have done the same thing. I put a complete 2 albums out on webshots and didnt identify them, Geo. said he would help me….I’m actually not bad at it but I dont think this hood emblem is an original so there’s the rub for me….Fabulous capture tho
Add it to this group 49er-with-wheels but just looking (and I’m no expert at all ) the hood ornament might indicate its a Ford from the 1930’s thats been customized? What I do at car shows now is also photograph the tag in the window along with some of the color of the car in that photo .. that way when I get home I can sort thru and label the cars & LOOK my intelligent than I am ….LOL But really it does help one get better at identifing them and it saves you from having to carry around a notebook :)
LOL I realized I should have been photographing that tag when I got home and looked at so many photos for the day:))) Thanks Nina, this will be my mode of operation from now:)))
Karen, I think a 1920’s Cadillac…Trying to help. Great car, color & photo!! :-)))Greg
Thanks for the great comment Greg, okay Cadilac?:))))
Hi Karen, thanks for adding!!
Hey… the less info you write down at the time, the more photographs you have to add to this group to ask for answers ;-)
I agree with Nina though about photographing the tags. I do that at zoos and bird parks if I am not too familiar with something there :-D
it is a learning process with art on cars:))) thanks so much Ellis:)))
Karen, After some checking, the grill looks like a 1930’s Chevy coupe.Greg
Thanks for the entry into the Group – Colin
