wow! look at her expression! beautiful :)
Thank you so much Elizarose – in the reference photo she is actually frowning, so I wanted to soften her expression a little, hopefully that worked :)
Beautiful! Do these have to be put behind glass like normal pastels or sealed with anything! Just curious :)
Actually Dianne, I spray three coats of fixative, followed but three coats of satin varnish, which does cause a little sinking and dulling of colour, but so long as the skin tones stay fairly true, I’m not too worried.
Fantastic Karen. Beautiful work with the pastels.
Thank you so very much for your wonderful feedback Peter – much appreciated!!! :)
Beautiful work Karen, I love the little pinky sticking out like that. It’s a nice detail and suits the pink in the rest of the artwork perfectly. ;-)
For some reason Arie I knew you would notice the pinky – you are always so observant and thank you for your lovely comments!!! :)
WOW, Karen. This work is of great delicacy.
Thank you Michele – that’s just the look I was hoping to convey!!! :)
