What a cool addition to that wonderful series Karen. Love the details in the lacey table runner.
Thank you so much Jim for your wonderful feedback – actually this one drove me nuts, between trying to fix computer problems, and battling with a head cold, it has taken me two weeks to complete and I was over it, (if pieces take me more than a couple of days I lose interest) but we got there in the end!!! :)
yummy I’ll be right over!
You’re very welcome Rita, although we gobbled these goodies up as soon as the reference photos were taken LOL :)
Fabulous work Karen! :o)
Thank you so very much Marilyn!!! :)
Hi, Karen. This wonderful work is to remind me how far I have yet to do.
Are you kidding Michele – your work is superb!!! I actually finished this one thinking myself, I still have a long way to go – it wasn’t as realistic as I would like, but I guess we would not be happy if we weren’t continually striving to be better :))
Just beautiful Karen. Those cakes look so gorgeous!
Thank you so much Ann, and yes they were very yummy. There are six in our family, so each tart was carefully cut into six and we got a bite size sample each :))
Wonderful work … again! Ever thought of doing a study with some woodworking tools??
I might yet Carol. You never can tell what ideas are going to pop into your head, and I just go with whatever feels right at the time. Thank you so much for your lovely feedback!!! :)
Karen, your work amazes me everytime I view it.This is simply beautiful!!! You have the ability to create something that is so life-like, that I could reach into the monitor and pick things up, piece by piece, especially those delicious looking cakes…Lol!!!
Thank you so much Sharon – you are always wonderfully supportive – as I mentioned in an earlier comment, I personally wasn’t a hundred percent happy with the realism in this one, so it is encouraging to know that you find it life-like. I am going to experiment with different primers to see if I can get the look even smoother :)
Thank you so much Bobby!!! :)
Thank you heaps Monique!!! :)
