37cm x 37cm artwork, done with coloured pencil and pan pastels on wood. These days, this image is probably obsolete and would more likely feature an iphone with a text message, but the sentiment is still the same.

Wonderful! I am so impressed with your ability to make a 2D look like 3D!! I thought this was a downshot photograph of a collection of items, Bravo!! And your patience!!

  • Thank you so very much Murals2go – I am having such fun with these pieces and trying to make them look as 3D as possible, so I’m thrilled you like them!!! :)

Might want to consider adding it to the Vintage Story Art Group, it would be perfect there too!

  • Really – I wouldn’t have thought of that, but thank you for the suggestion :))

beautiful karen, love your pencil work, you are the Queen of the pencil!

  • Aren’t you lovely Karen – we all seem to be known for something, and I do love working with the coloured pencils – you would have to be the Queen of classic graphite portraits!!! :)

You’re right Karen, but write to someone in the past was different. There is who still has the letters received from your lover 40 years ago. Today I do not believe that someone keep a sms for thirty years. Your work is beautiful.

  • So true Michele – letters are so much more sentimental!!! Thank you for your kind words!!! :)

I’ terribly sorry Karen. I wrote “from your lover” instead of “from her lover”. CIAOOOOO

  • No worries Michele – I knew what you meant :))
