Step by Step Tutorial on drawing an Eye by

This is the second time I have used this eye (one of my sons) as a reference for artwork, the first time was for a painting for an exhibition. This time I have done it in coloured pencils (5×7 inches) for a step by step tutorial for Fine Art & Decorative Painting (an Educational Art Magazine) – this issue will be available in a few months. The tutorial will include a comprehensive list of pencils used (over 41) and includes 7 progress scans with instructions.

    The Auld Yin.

  • Well Auld Yin – you must put some of Gillian’s sketches on your RB, or maybe she will have her own and I look forward to seeing them – what a creative family!!! With such an artistic Dad, I’m sure she draws super well!!! You could teach me how to make animal sculptures Auld Yin and I just know they would come out like blobs and nothing like yours!!!
