Thank you Ninamarie – you are so generous. I really enjoyed doing all the liche and moss on the rocks.

gorgeous contrast between the bird & the rocks!
Thank you so much J-C – you always are so complimentary and I appreciate it ver much
Hi Margaret, I think watercolour canvas has been around for six of seven years, it is made by Fredrix. It is a completely different support for watercolours to other bases – it allows for more lifting off and reworking, but at the same time you have to have a very light hand when doing washes and adding extra colour or the underneath layers easily lift off. I loved working on it, especially for miniatures – I just don’t like the grainy effect when it is reproduced, meaning those paintings are not ideal for prints.
Lovely work x
Thank you, as always Anita x
This little birdie must have a Robin hood complex just look at the proud way in which it stands, so cute ~!
He does look a bit full of himself, thank you so much, you make me smile!
Thank you again Scott – I appreciate it
Karen, this is a beautiful piece!
Thank you Deb – I did this one ages ago, but really enjoyed doing it because of the colours and textures :)
