*Update- We got 2nd place, out of several hundreds of entries…barely beat out by another entry whom was spamming 24/7 for votes. We had a great lead ahead of other images for most of the month, and then got spammed out of first place at the end.
This is so aggravating and frustrating to see a blurry “what is it?” close-up win over our image only because this person spammed everyone on that site to view his shot… we did not beg for votes like that yet still maintained the lead for the majority of the contest… until near the end.
Does anyone know of a legitimate photo contest where it is NOT popularity based? We do not have the time to compete with spammers.

I feel for you, i have not entered any comps yet (not sure if i will). i think all these sites are somewhat popularity based. But what the heck! I have a few regulars and they make me happy ;-). I’ll keep commenting on whatever i like and whomever i like and i like your work, so keep it coming!
