I recently received my M.A. in Counseling Psychology and I work predominantly as a substitute English teacher in Massachusetts.

I spent this past summer traveling America alone in my car for three months, rediscovering the latent beauty of the earth and the dynamic dreams of this inspiring nation. Following this, I backpacked with a friend through England, Scotland, and Ireland for a month.

I am currently working on publishing a collection of my poetry, as well as an Historical Romance novel. I plan on writing a memoir of my travels across America with my stuffed panda bear, Panda. :)

I hope to find a place for my words and images in the hearts of others, and to continually challenge complacency.

“For the first time, she understood that there was an artery leading from her heart to her hands and those things she would create with them. She knew that someday she would find that artery, and when she did she would open it and bleed, and perhaps she would die. But she would have made a thing that was real.”
- Penelope Williamson

“I thank God for most this
amazing
day; for the leaping greenly
spirits of trees
and a blue true dream of sky;
and for everything
which is natural, which is
infinite, which is yes. “

-e. e. cummings

His Roots Beneath Me and the Skies in His Eyes

Lips press upon my cheek; my knees go weak, / and I ponder if you are the person / I have been seeking. Feet are firmly pressed upon the earth / (I can feel your roots beneath me) / and with the sl…
