Fire is one of those photographic subjects that TOO MANY OTHER PEOPLE think that they pick up a camera, click the shutter and it will come out like this.
Truth is – it wont be a WONDERFUL AS YOUR SHOT and thats the truth ;o)
Yours is like the flames that movies have to ‘create’ with computer graphics
to get the ‘classic leaping flames’ that you have here. The yellowy, orange tones
and even the LINE at the left hand side to denote the scale of the fireplace.
A good photographer make the ‘difficult look easy’. Well done.
Me – jealous- nah :o( LOL

My comment on your shot is truly deserved. I say it as I see it and I tried to be ‘cool’ and photograph a ( whatya callit) ummm – like a woooden pole with a top piece which is lit like in a Indiana Jones movie – one of them. Anyway, I tried o photograph – hoping for ‘classic flames’ like yours but it was an orange BLOB with black bits and OH WELL. Till my next try :o) Super super shot of yours – I must say once again. ‘Jealousy badge being put on’ (figurative badge that I ‘put on’ when I see I photo I know I can’t copy :o)
