10 Things to Say in Japan
Learning a new language can be hard. Trust me, my Thai is still horrible. But, if you are planning on visiting Japan, you should know how to say at least a few things. The problem is that so many of the sounds just don’t want to come out right. To help you with this, i have made this t-shirt of handy phrases to use. When someone asks you a question, just point to the right line, and presto! Problem solved…....
1. “Hello.”
2. “I don’t understand Japanese.” (Sympathy never hurts)
3. “How much is it?” (Great for when you are strolling about
the market)
4. “I’m looking for” .... (Just show them that silly tourist map you
have been clutching since you got off the airplane, and ask for directions)
5. “Thank you.” (always be polite)
6. “Where is the restroom?” (in case you get the food bug)
7. “Yes, I am a movie star.” (Hey, You never know until you try!)
8. “Would you like to go on a date?” (Give it a shot, they think you are one, or the other, half of Bran-Jolina now)
9. “I love you.” (Use as needed to get results)
10. “Goodbye.” (All good things must come to an end)
