Bluenose ll - Lunenburg, Nova Scotia by

This is the daughter of the legendary Bluenose – the fastest fishing schooner to work the Grand Banks off Nova Scotia. As is obvious, this is an unbelievably beautiful sailing boat – the woodwork is exquisite. This is a big boat – 160 feet long, and with 1036 square metres of sail.

I got to go aboard the Bluenose II last month when she was in Boston. What a truly impressive beauty of a ship! All who are involved with her upkeep are to be commended.

  • Thanks Kamalyn – yep, she is a very nice boat.
