I chose this piece to elaborate on the beauty of woman, a view of women as lush and fruitful and who have the potential the change or transform (the butterfly) into a life giving being. Women, lush, fruitful, have given birth to each of us.
I am a physician and have a passion for healing. I started making collages after working on altered books. My husband asked me to make something larger so that we could hang it in our home. My daughters then encouraged me to upload my creations.
The encouragement that I receive online keeps me creating. Knowing my art is being enjoyed keeps me making more. I love that. You are helping the machine of my creation right now. ~Kanchan http://www.dreamimages.org

Love your work. I used to design decoupage paper using Pre Raphaelite images. I know how much work goes into this.
Thank you so very much!
That’s so cool that you worked on images similar to mine! Wish I could see it. I love your photography, you are truly multitalented.

A sense of sublimity is shared here, either from the woman’s pose or the patterns embellished by- the broader pattern of life gives this feeling we should all see and share here. Nice work Kanchan.
