The half-timbered Rottmeister house is a famous landmark attached to the old town hall in the middle of Regnitz river on the artificial island. This building was added after the town hall was constructed in 1744-56. The house now has the museum of porcelain.

The Old Town of Bamberg is located close the city of Nuremberg, and listed as a UNESCO World Heritage, primarily because of its authentic medieval appearance.

Stitched from 9 images! Wow! It’s a beautiful scene, Norbert, and not something you would find in Australia! It must be interesting to live in a place where there is centuries of history on every corner.
No wide angle is wide enough to get this picture from that point. So I tried to stitch my panorama with several pictures – successful! Yes, you find very old historic buildings on many places. We have half-timbered buildings from the 13. century and they are not museums. People still live in it! Churches and castles are much older.
