White-tip Reef Sharks (Triaenodon obesus) cruising along an underwater mountain in clearest sea water.
This one I like very much, because I love to show this animals in their natural habitat, which is quiet unusual for sharks. I know, portraits are more popular but also much easier to shoot.
Specially in big sizes this image will not miss attention.

do you ever get scared of the sharks? cheers jan

  • No, except one situation at Wolf island, Galapagos. We where drifting on surface after a dive and thirty ore more silky sharks surrounded us. A huge crowd of sea birds above us gave us the imagination what should happen soon.
But we where lucky and the boat picked us up after thirty minutes.

Great shot, I really like it. It has a sort of illusion-like effect, I can’t really explain it. :)

  • Thank you Kemal.
