This large, “identified, flying object” is a Spotted Eagle Ray, (Aetobatus narinari).
I saw it already coming from a distance. On sandy bottom, between coral patches, I tried to hide with holding my breath for a small eternity. I’ve got one shot only. Then the ray escaped.
This picture was published in double pages in Germany and international Magazines.
