THIS PHOTOGRAPH IS PART OF MY CALENDAR SUNKEN & FORGOTTEN

Diver explores the sunken frigate “383” close Varadero. The ship with a length of 102m and a weight of 500 tons was build in Russia. Years later the Russians sold it to Cuba. At 16th of July 1998 Fidel Castro gave the order to sink the war ship in a depth of 27 meter to attract divers for Cuban tourism. I was there for a German magazine.
