Lumen Prize Competition

The Lumen Prize is open to artists anywhere in the world. All works are reviewed by Lumen’s International Selection Committee which is made up of academics, gallerists, artists and art historians from around the world. The top 100 works chosen by the ISC become the Lumen Online Gallery which is opened for a public vote for the People’s Choice Award in September.

The top 100 works are then reviewed by the Lumen Jury Panel who choose the top 25 works that form the 2014 Lumen Prize Exhibition as well as the 2014 Lumen Prize winners. The Founder’s prize is selected by Lumen’s Founder, Carla Rapoport, for that work which is most in keeping with the goals of the Lumen Prize Exhibition and its emphasis on community engagement and outreach..

Digital Arts California

“Wide Open Digital 2” brings viewers the excitement of dynamic works across the full digital spectrum. The images here, which range in discipline from classic digital painting and photography to avant-garde algorithmic and glitch art, are nothing short of stunning.

This exhibit is wide-ranging and truly international, with 436 images by 80 artists from 17 countries. The judges selected 3 works to receive a GOLD STELLAR ART AWARD and 33 works to receive a STELLAR ART AWARD. All images in the show demonstrate excellence. It is a competitive show, and having even one image selected for inclusion is an honor. Website Digital Arts Califonia

Chop for fun

We made a new Facebook page where you can chop for fun. https://www.facebook.com/PhotoshopFaceOff I started my photoshop contests at Photoshopfaceoff.com many years ago, the site got hacked and never really came back online, now we can chop again with the old members and hopefully many more new photoshop addicts. Just for fun.

My work in New York

Dear Marlon Paul,

Congratulations on your upcoming inclusion in The Story of the Creative exhibition! We are incredibly excited for the show which features hundreds of artists from 103 countries across the globe.

To celebrate your work we’re hosting a special opening exhibition in New York City. Find here your official invitation to the event.

Your work will be on display at See.Me’s Long Island City gallery through September 10. Our gallery is open to the public, so if you’re not able to attend the opening, you will still have the chance to see your work on view at a later date.

Our curators are hard at work creating a beautiful and cohesive show. Images of your work are being pulled directly from your See.Me profile. They will likely be working up to the day of the eve…
