Fringed Lily or Thysanotus tuberosus belongs to the Anthericaceae family of perennial herbs, about 35 genera & 700 species mainly in Africa & Australia.

This Lily flowers in spring being widespread in heath, woodland and open forests. Found in the Serpentine forest in Western Australia spring 2011.

    These are beautiful little flowers, which I’m fortunate to have growing within yards of my bushland abode! This is a particularly good capture, showing the colour and great detail. :)george
