MYRTACEAE family – Darwinia oldfieldii Small dense spreading shrub to 1m high and 2m across. Fine foliage is formally arranged around the stems and deep red clusters of flowers are produced at the tips in spring. Lightly prune after flowering. Bird attractant. Light shade or full sun. Listed on the Water Corporation as a water wise plant.
