Artist's Description

Acacia ashbyae, another wattle, is endemic to Australia. This particularly shrub is nturally found in the Geraldton area of Western Australia. It is not under threat. Dense, spreading, rounded shrub, 1.5-2 m high, to 2 m wide. Fl. yellow, Jul to Sep. Red/brown sand, sandy loam, loam. Roadsides, sandplains, stony rises. (Calm florabase)
