Ardvreck Castle at Historic Assynt, just outside Ullapool in Scotland. Seat of the MacLeods of Assynt from 15th century, transformed in 16th century to towerhouse.
Historic Assynt was formed in 1997 to oversee the consolidation of the ruins of Ardvreck Castle and Calda House – the Inchnadamph Project.
