Jacobite Rose by

The Jacobite Rose, growing around the base of the Glenfinnan Monument in the Lochaber highlands of Scotland on the edge of Loch Shiel, is reputed to be descendent of the original rose worn by Bonnie Prince Charles and his folowers at the Jacobite Rising in 1745.
