Grass of Parnassus belongs to the Parnassia family. It grows to around 8 inches tall with about a 4 inch spread. Lovely ‘veining’ on the petals. Found on Mull Head Nature Reserve on the Orkney Islands just off the Scottish west coast. Taken with macro lens
