Acacia alata or Winged Wattle is an upright straggly shrub; quite widespread in Western Australia and flowers in winter and spring.
Photo taken at the edge of the Serpentine Forest in Western Australia, just opposite Karnup Prison in an area that looks as if had been cultivated once and planted with a variety of Acacias, as some seem to be of E.Aus origin and now returned to wild growth.
