Such vivid hues, Kala. Beautiful! Can you imagine being named Harvey Wattle?
Harry Oldmeadow first introduced me (across the Pacific) to wattle through his photos. I’d thought wattle only referred to the new folds of skin under my skinny chin and neck.
Fortunately, other beautiful wattle exists. Lovely shot.

Thanks Jan – I don’t know a Harvey Wattle but I did once meet a Gordon Bennett – if you have every used this as a term of expression, it was funny to meet a person named such.
