I like this pencil torch work. The lighting is wonderful.

  • kalaryder replied

It was a case of necessity, the last time I was shooting in the bush everything was dark and the daywas rather cloudy, some fine breaks only occasionaly, so the torch acted as a mini sun :)

Thanks for taking the time to be sure we all see this orchid, lighting it and all. You are truly as special as the flowers you bring to us.

  • kalaryder replied

How very kind of you to say so. :) I was pleased with the experimenting with the torch. The trick is not to have a harsh light and a slim pencil torch is easier to handle and directs only a little light where you want it. Give it a try :)

Oh, no thank you, I have an old cheap camera! I will trust the gorgeous photography to you! I am an artist, primarily. I take pix to capture what my artist eye savors and needs to record. But drawing and painting and crafts, especially dolls are my spiritually manifestation. Keep up the awesome work!
