Mount Barren Grevillea
Grevillea macrostylis or Mt Barren Grevillea is a native plant of Western Australia, from The Barrens. The flowers are red with slight “down” curling into creamy-yellow, the leaves are wide, dark with five points. Very delicate looking, but showy flower.

This is a beautiful photo and it’s amazing what they can grow in Kings Park. I’ve been lucky enough to see these growing in the Fitzgerald River National Park on the slopes of Mt Barren. Peter

That would be great to see them in their natural surroundings. This is a very large shrub/small tree in Kings Park, so it has been there for quite a while.
